Surveys shall be conducted within suitable Habitat according to accepted protocols and conducted as part of the project review process for public and private projects. Survey protocols are attached and can be accessed by opening the metadata properties in ArcCatalog and viewing the file 'PROTOCOLS - REVISED_MAMMALS.DOC' Please note that this document is in its preliminary state and has not been officially sanctioned by counsel. Additional reference protocol information for small mammals (PROTOCOLS- SMALL MAMMAL GUIDELINES REV8-16-04, put together by Dudek and Assoc. for the MSHCP is also attached and can be accessed using the same procedure.
